Jerry (Kenneth) Dennington went to school in Quanah, Texas. Joined the United States Army. Kenneth worked in the Oil and Gas industry for many years. Started as a rough neck in his early years and achieved success as a well-respected Company Man. Worked for well-known companies such as Coleman Drilling, Meridian, Burlington, and Energen Resources to name a few. His hobbies were fishing, camping, golfing and spending quality time with family. He is preceded in death by his wife Donna Jean of 62 years and daughter, Twila. His parents Wilbur Dennington and Ruby Stewart and sister Loretta Hill.
He is survived by his eldest son Kelly Dennington and wife Leona Dennington, Son Jerry Donavon Dennington and wife Tara Dennington, and Benjamin Dennington.
Grandchildren are Brandon Lawton, Mitchell Dennington (sons of Twila), Dalton Dennington, Sydney Phillips, and Samuel Dennington (children of Jerry Donavon and Tara Dennington), Garrett Lawrence, Caleb Dennington, and Emma Jean Dennington (children of Benjamin Dennington) and Catalina Dennington (daughter of Kelly and Leona Dennington).
Services to be held on January 26, 2024, at 11:00 am at Cross Roads Community Church located at 2400 N. Butler Avenue, Farmington, NM 87401 and officiated by Pastor Dave West.
Burial to be held January 27, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Aztec Cemetery located at 700 Chamisa Avenue, Aztec, NM 87410.
