Henry Frederick Blum III was called home on August 27, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind the love of his life and wife of 36 years, Penny; sons, Henry Blum IV (Durango, CO) and Matthew Blum (Spain), stepsons, Trevor McCall (Pine, CO), and Troy McCall, (Sierra Vista, AZ), daughter-in-law, MariClaire McCall, (Sierra Vista, AZ), grandchildren, Sarah McCall, (Mesa, AZ) and Jonathan McCall, (Sierra Vista, AZ), his sister, Barbara Blum and her husband, Robert Taylor (Houston, TX) and many very special and loved friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Cain Blum and his father, Henry Blum Jr., and grandparents.
Hank was born on November 30, 1949 in Texas City, TX. He attended the University of North Texas. He had numerous positions, but one special endeavor was when he opened a donut shop in Lewisville, TX in 1987, noted by the “Dancing Donuts” he created on the front of the store, which was a huge success and he got to talk to everyone, which was something he cherished! He moved on to other things and moved Penny constantly as he loved to build homes and ended up living on a cliff in Aztec, NM. He was not a boring man.
He was full of life and he never knew a stranger. He will be missed every day until we are all together again. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
