Francis Leroy Crane

F.L. ‘Bud’ Crane, 85, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on October 2, 2018 in Farmington. Bud was born January 27, 1933 to parents Hansel ‘Bill’ and Thelma Eaker Crane in Farmington, NM.

Bud grew up in Aztec and graduated from Aztec High School. He joined the Navy and was a Veteran of the Korean War. After his time in the service, he returned home where he became a large influence in the San Juan Basin Oil and Gas Industry including being the Vice President of Dugan Production for over 35 years. He was an extremely dedicated family man, married to his sweetheart for over 60 years and together they  had 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 5 great- grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.

Bud is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Thelma Crane and sister; Martha Tow. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Crane, son; Bobby Crane (Beverly), daughters; Becky Ferris (Joe), Tammy Crane-Baugh and Sue Becker (Joey), grandchildren; Chris Ferris, Amanda Ferris, Keith Baugh, Sierra Bolgrean, Derrick Crane, Nikki McNealy, J.P. Crane, Bobbie Jean Crane, Melissa Becker and David Becker, great-grandchildren; Charles Bolgrean, Anthony Bolgrean, Keith Baugh Jr., Oliver Michael Nugent and Adelaide McNealy. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Alternative Choice.
