Don loved the outdoors and especially riding his ATV in the San Juan Mountains and rugged landscapes of Southeastern Utah. It was Don’s extreme passion for adventure that inspired his sons to pursue similar interests including boating, off-roading, hiking and camping. Don was one of the founding members of the Cliff Hanger Four Wheel Drive Club in Farmington, New Mexico. Don was also a Veteran and served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Don’s occupation throughout the majority of his career was as a service salesman in the power generating industry throughout the Southwestern United States. Babcock Power, Inc. was actually the company who moved him from his childhood home of Lancaster, Ohio to Farmington, New Mexico in 1970.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff of the Beehive Homes for the exceptional care provided to Don as well as San Juan Regional Medical Center. A private commemoration service will be held in La Plata Canyon by immediate family in the upcoming weeks. No flowers or gifts are needed but thoughts and prayers are graciously appreciated.
